First Assignment!

My favorite book is The Hunger Games by Susan Collins. This is my favorite book because it had a lot of action and suspense. It drew me in and I couldn’t stop reading it! The genre I like to read and usually read is realistic fiction. Although my favorite book, The Hunger Games, is science fiction, I prefer realistic fiction genre as a whole. My favorite realistic fiction book is Something Like Fate by Susane Colasanti because it was so relatable to so many people to feel like you belong with somebody who already belongs to someone else. The book I am currently reading is Lucid by Adrienne Stoltz and Ron Bass it is about two girls named Sloane and Maggie who live completely different lives and have never met, but at night they dream about each other’s lives and learn each other’s secrets. The book I just finished is Always a Witch by Carolyn Macullough. Always a Witch is the sequel to Once a Witch. In Always a Witch Tamsin Greene and her family become threatened by the Knight family. They have a Domani to keep the Knights powers locked away, but the domain has become weak and isn’t working correctly. So Tamsin decides to travel back in time to before the Domani was made. once she travels back in time to help her family remake the domani, she ends up as a housekeeper in the home of her family's rivals, The Knights, disguised as a normal girl named Agatha. She finds they are using humans to strengthen their own powers, and are soon planning to move on to using her family. Tamsin's power is the ability to block somebody from using their talent, and if someone uses their talent on her more than three times, she gains that talent. Tamsin knows she has to warn her family, so she searches for them and sets out to tell them about what the Knight's are doing, and are planning on doing. After escaping the Knight home and reaching her family, they work out a plan on how to strengthen the domani. Their plan involves kidnapping one of the members of the Knight family in order to take all of their powers and lock them away.  But at the last moment, Tasmin realized just using a Knight won't work, she finds she needs to make a sacrifice, or let her family suffer! i dont want to give away the entire ending so make sure you read Always a Witch to find out what happens!
